Compatibility Designed to comply with the requirements of BS5839-4 (for head-out monitoring use 1 x BF378M module per zone). Mains supply 230V 50/60Hz. Mains rated current 330mA max. Internal power supply 27V nominal. Total output current limited to 1400mA @ 230V. Quiescent current 70mA (with no mains supply, fault beeper muted, no aux. output connections, EOL devices and resistors only fitted to detector and sounder loops). Max battery size and type 2 x 12V 3.2Ah VRLA connected in series. No. of detector zone circuits 8 (Max. length per circuit is 500m). Additional Zones cannot be added to this panel. Gent Flush Manual Call Point are designed to provide a manual alarm interface to conventional fire alarm control panels. All call points are supplied in the standard red colour and are available in semi-flush mounting or surface mounting options. The manual call points are all with a 470 Ohm resistor and Normally Open contact, complete with glass.
Both break glass, and resettable operating elements can be used in the standard unit by a yellow strip on the element which becomes visible when activated.
With the addition of a hinged transparent cover the element may be protected against accidental operation.
A specialist test key may be inserted into the bottom of the unit to lower the glass and release the micro-switch and thus a full functional test is achieved.
