A keyfob; a small handheld remote control device used to operate a keyless entry system. A miniature remote control that contains an RFID chip and an antenna. It communicates with another RFID tag inside a reader device, linked to a locking system, using radio frequencies. Each key fob chip programmed to transmit specific RFID tag information that corresponds to what the reader device programmed to accept.When a user presses the button, the keyfob transmits an RFID signal to the reader device. The system opens the door when the RFID information transmitted from the keyfobs matches what the reader programmed to accept.
