Gent S3-S-W Fire-Alarm Sounder is a part of the comprehensive range of loop-powered alarm sounders with integrated voice and EN54-23 certified visual alarms that the S-Cubed offers. Combined with flexible configuration from the Gent by Honeywell fire control panels, this loop-powered device can give a differentiated combination of audible and visual alarms for alert and general evacuation. The sounders shall be capable of providing 3 different sound signals, which are selected/configured via the main control panel. Configuration of sounder patterns will not be carried out locally at individual sounders. In order to meet with the requirements of BS5839 Part 1, the frequency of sound signals emitted will be as follows:
• 800Hz Low tone
• 970Hz High tone
Each sounder shall include its own microprocessor to handle loop communications and monitoring. Each sounder will actively monitor the operation of the sounder circuit and piezzo element daily and a fault indicated at the control panel if this is found to be defective, All associated electronic components shall be sealed.

- Four voice phrases and a bell tone are available as standard Voice and tone modes can be freely configured within the same sounder
- Active background monitoring of sounder and VAD circuits
- Adjust the sounder volume via the commissioning tool, the panel, or the HandiLink infrared remote control
