The BACNET-GW-3 provides an interface between NOTIFIER’s fire panel network (either the standard or the high-speed version) and a network using the BACnet/IP communication protocol.
BACnet protocol is an American National Standard (ANSI/ASHRAE 135-1995). With the Gateway inter- face, devices on NFN fire alarm control panels are represented as BACnet objects to the BACnet client.

The BACnet protocol is a Standard (Ansi/Ashrae 135-2004). With the Gent BACnet Gateway Assembly and Bacnet Gateway Din Rail Mounting-Kit, devices on Vigilon fire alarm control panels are represented as BACnet objects to the BACnet client. The user subscribes to Event Notification objects from the FACP as required and the BACnet device receives events from objects on the FACP as a result of the subscription.
With the VIG-BNG-RW the BACnet client can also write to certain objects on the FACP. The BACnet Gateway can be connected to a standalone EN54 FACP using an S4-34440-12 Interface or it can be connected to an EN54 Vigilon network via a VIG-NET-NODE. Each BACnet Gateway can support a maximum of 15 FACP or 15000 objects. Multiple Gateways can be used to interface with larger networks.

Gent Flush Manual Call Point are designed to provide a manual alarm interface to conventional fire alarm control panels. All call points are supplied in the standard red colour and are available in semi-flush mounting or surface mounting options. The manual call points are all with a 470 Ohm resistor and Normally Open contact, complete with glass.
Both break glass, and resettable operating elements can be used in the standard unit by a yellow strip on the element which becomes visible when activated.
With the addition of a hinged transparent cover the element may be protected against accidental operation.
A specialist test key may be inserted into the bottom of the unit to lower the glass and release the micro-switch and thus a full functional test is achieved.
