Innovative design has allowed the LED visual alarm to be built into the centre of the sensor with the sounder and speech circuits inside providing a neat and aesthetic solution to multi-function devices.

The S-Quad range of multifunction devices includes sensors with sounders, speech and EN54-23 certified visual alarms. This allows maximum flexibility for designers providing cover for a building. The advanced sensing technology is enhanced with a device that can alert building occupants with a highly visible visual alarm and a recorded voice message to ensure all occupants are alerted to an emergency.

- Â Complete range of sensors with combinations of advanced sensing technologies including heat, dual angle optical scatter and carbon monoxide (CO)
- Combined sensing of carbon monoxide with dual angle optical scatter and heat allows a higher level of false alarm immunity in presence of steam and while still maintaining the integrity of detecting fires
- Each sensor has certified sensitivity settings that suit certain environments/ applications and may be programmed for different times of the day if required • Short circuit Isolator in each device
- Â Configurable input/ output connection for a remote indicator or supervisory input fully synchronised sound patterns via the control panel
- Sensor sounders have adjustable sound levels and tones to match system sounders
- Sounder element monitoring and over-load protection to ensure operation even in event of cable fault
- Â Sound output synchronised and compatible with S-Quad range of EN54-23 VADs
- Sensor and alarm in one device reduce installation time and cost.
- Built-in high-intensity VAD helps alert occupants in noisy environments as well as the hard of hearing

Gent Flush Manual Call Point are designed to provide a manual alarm interface to conventional fire alarm control panels. All call points are supplied in the standard red colour and are available in semi-flush mounting or surface mounting options. The manual call points are all with a 470 Ohm resistor and Normally Open contact, complete with glass.
Both break glass, and resettable operating elements can be used in the standard unit by a yellow strip on the element which becomes visible when activated.
With the addition of a hinged transparent cover the element may be protected against accidental operation.
A specialist test key may be inserted into the bottom of the unit to lower the glass and release the micro-switch and thus a full functional test is achieved.
