Overview
Designed to connect to the RS485 terminals on an EP203 Automatic Extinguisher Panel toprovide remote system status indicationviaa 128 x 64 pixel LCD
status display.
Also includes a pull-down manual release button, a mode (auto/manual) keyswitch and a wide range of system status indicators.
Three monitored input connections (Hold, Abort and Mode).
Max. 8 remote status units per EP203 panel.
Flush remote status units(EP210F) and weather proof enclosures (BF359/1) also available.Power requirements 21-28VDC (200mA electronic fuse). Quiescent current 7mA. Auxiliary inputs Three: (1) Hold; (2) Abort; (3) Mode. A 6k8 EOL resistor must be fitted across the terminals of the last device on each monitored input circuit. Unused circuits must have the 6k8 resistor fitted at the terminals. Indicators Gen. fire; Fire Zones (x3); Gen. disablement; Hold; 1st Stage Output; 2nd Stage Output; Release Imminent (x2); Exting. Gent Flush Manual Call Point are designed to provide a manual alarm interface to conventional fire alarm control panels. All call points are supplied in the standard red colour and are available in semi-flush mounting or surface mounting options. The manual call points are all with a 470 Ohm resistor and Normally Open contact, complete with glass.
Both break glass, and resettable operating elements can be used in the standard unit by a yellow strip on the element which becomes visible when activated.
With the addition of a hinged transparent cover the element may be protected against accidental operation.
A specialist test key may be inserted into the bottom of the unit to lower the glass and release the micro-switch and thus a full functional test is achieved.
