Loop powered interfaces offer a cost effective solution with each device
individually addressed increasing the overal management capability of the
FD&A system.
Interfaces are either powered from the loop or require a separate mains
supply. The mains power version has its own battery backup. -

The VESDA-E VEA series of detectors

The VEA-040-A10 detector features a 3.5” colour LCD display which provides a range of status information including alarm and fault conditions as well as smoke level. Screens for each type of information are available using a simple navigation system.

VESDA detectors and devices communicate on VESDAnet which provides a
robust bi-directional communication network allowing continued redundant operation even during single point wiring failures. VESDAnet enables primary reporting, centralized configuration, control, maintenance and monitoring.
ETHERNET AND WIFI CONNECTIVITY
VESDA-E detectors offer Ethernet and WiFi connectivity as standard features. The detector can be added to a corporate network, allowing WiFi enabled tablet devices and laptops installed with Xtralis configuration software to connect
wirelessly to the detector via the network.

The Exd Buzzer is an explosion proof buzzer designed
for use in hazardous areas where a distinctive signal is
required. Certified to ATEX II 2G Exd e IIC T6, it is suitable for
use in Zone 1 and Zone 2 areas.
Producing a tone with low frequency, it cuts through
background noise more effectively than many other
devices of a similar output.
Mounted in a rugged reinforced polyester case and
weatherproof to IP66, it is suitable for use in the most
arduous conditions. -

EXD SOUNDER TCB-0017
The EXD Sounder has been approved for use in potentially explosive atmospheres and very harsh environmental conditions.
The unit incorporates a three stage alarm option with sixty three tones to choose from which includes four tones that can be recorded or customised by the installer. All tones can be pre-set during installation.
The units also have the ability to be fitted with a telephone initiation function and can be used as the second ring output indicator for telephones when installed in very noisy environments.
The design allows for termination inside the enclosure. The sounder is supplied with a mounting bracket as standard. -
