An audio door phone allows the user to communicate with visitors without having to open the door. This system has the advantage of being able to connect one or more exterior entry panels to a number of internal handsets.

When talking to the other person, press the push button and the bell on his/her set will ring. Use the microphone while speaking. When the conversation is finished, return the handset and ensure that the pilot light is turned off. Else the talkback set will continue to operate and consume electricity.
