The desktop reader is intended to be placed next to the computer. This unit is only intended for indoor use. Used for reading credentials and displaying the token number on the keyboard. Also used to add tokens to a system as well as to identify lost cards. Desktop reader can be installed on additional workstations. It must be used with caution. Credentials presented to the reader will position the information where the cursor is on a computer screen. Your software’s new user window must be manually opened. For the token to be correctly added to the system, the cursor must be placed in the ‘token number’ field.
