Installing detectors has never been this hassle-free. The E-Z Fit Base is engineered to fit mounting boxes up to four inches in size. Its unique design allows you to loosely fit both screws of a four-inch box to it before offering it up to the box, simplifying the installation process. For smaller boxes, one screw is fitted first. The hinged covers conceal the screws in use, ensuring a neat and professional appearance.

The detector head locks the hinged covers when closed, and you can further secure it by locking the detector head into the base using the standard locking screw.
